FOR US, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE CRAFTSMANSHIP...

Lou and I started our business in 1990 after graduating from George Brown College in Toronto (Furniture Production & Design 1987).  We have always felt strongly that our work should honour the craft of upholstery and to that end, we are committed to building all of our pieces with critical old-school techniques:

* kiln-dried hardwood frames

* double-dowelled, tight-fitting joints

* eight-way, hand-tied coil springs

* hand-stuffed cushions

*100% full-grain leather

One of the advantages of being a small manufacturer is that we don't have to compromise.  We build in a particular way that we know will produce a piece of furniture that will last and we don't waver from that approach.  33 years in this business and we are very grateful for customers that value craftsmanship as much as we do.
